     Personal History:

James began guitar at the age of 4 and gravitated toward instrument naturally. Early influences included John Lee Hooker, The Beatles, George Benson and Leon Russell. Later, JoePass, Jackie King, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Russell Malone, Ricky Skaggs, Tommy Tedesco and Billy Gibbons became inspirations. James graduated from Jackie Kings “Guitar  Conservatory of the Southwest” and gained vast knowledge of Guitar from Jackie King, Herb Ellis, Barney Kessel, Pat Martino and Lenny Breau.

All of these most excellent guitarist have helped make James the guitarist & singer that he is today.
